At the heart of Montisi, the Belcanto Festival activates an unexpected geography: an international community gathering between Montalcino and the Val d'Orcia around the operatic tradition, under the artistic direction of Luca Canonici. A project that brings belcanto back to its natural landscape — but with a contemporary openness, capable of engaging new audiences without losing authority.
The identity work operates on this balance: classical forms and compositional restraint are grafted onto a more current typographic construction, where the mark becomes at once note and voice, evoking the physicality and technique of singing. The visual system maintains elegance and rigour, but opens toward a more dynamic and accessible language — designed to live in digital and social contexts as well, carrying belcanto beyond its traditional frame.
