Hello, I’m Francesca Gualtieri, a creative director and multidisciplinary designer based in Italy.

My work moves across different media and contexts — from brand identity and packaging to video and printed matter — shaped by a background in architecture and a long-standing practice in visual communication. I’ve always been interested in how ideas take form, and how a project can shift scale, language and tools while staying coherent.

Over time, working across industries and collaborating with different studios and professionals has given me a way of approaching design as a flexible system rather than a fixed discipline. Today, this also includes exploring new tools such as generative AI as part of the creative process.

Alongside commissioned work, I run an ongoing personal project focused on printmaking, where I experiment with techniques like screen printing, monotype and batik on paper and fabric — a space where the work becomes more direct, material and open-ended.

At its core, my practice is driven by curiosity, a strong sense of structure, and the desire to keep things in motion.
