Nature as raw material, creativity as method.
Nicola Sgarbi is a chef who found his expressive form in artisan gelato and in the creative transformation of the land's produce. Buongusto — his gelaterias scattered across Pienza, Montepulciano, San Quirico d'Orcia and Siena — is born from this philosophy: bringing nature into the cone, with the same care a cook puts into choosing ingredients for a dish.
For Buongusto I built a visual identity that reflected this sensibility: dense, lush botanical patterns, a palette that shifts with the seasons and the fruits, a logo that carries the botanical mark within it. A system that knows how to be refined without being austere, natural without being rustic — exactly like Nicola's gelato.
